About Amy Hospodarsky

Amy Hospodarsky is a dynamic leader, change agent, and advocate for emotionally intelligent workplaces. Based in Iowa City, Iowa, she is currently the Director of Crowded Closet Thrift Shop, an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Iowa, and an Instructor at Kirkwood Community College. She also runs her own consulting business, Amy Hospodarsky LLC, specializing in change management, workforce development, and strategic planning to help organizations navigate transitions with creativity, empathy, and practicality.

Previously, Amy served as Interim General Manager (CEO) and COO of New Pioneer Co-op, where she led the organization from consistent sales losses to significant year-over-year growth. With experience in community relations at MidWestOne Bank and member services at the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce, she has built a career focused on fostering collaboration, innovation, and sustainable change.

Amy holds a B.A. in Marketing with a Certificate in Marketing Research from the University of Northern Iowa. She is also Enneagram Certified and has received several honors, including the Bravo Award, President’s Award, and recognition as one of the Forty Under 40. Passionate about reshaping the future of work, she continues to empower individuals and organizations through her expertise in emotional intelligence, workforce development, and strategic leadership.
