Dodge Street Coffeehouse Coming to South of 6th Business District
We’re excited to welcome Dodge Street Coffeehouse to the South of 6th Business District! Starting next month, the beloved Iowa City cafe will open its doors at 947 U.S. Highway 6, becoming part of our vibrant community of local businesses.
Originally opened in 2018 by Kelly Elliott and Jamie Skinner, Dodge Street Coffeehouse has built a loyal following at its previous location on N. Dodge Street. The move to our district follows feedback from a customer survey encouraging the cafe to explore new locations.
“It’s quite literally on the opposite side of town from our previous space, so we understand if we’re not on your route anymore! But we hope you stop by once in a while,” the owners shared in a recent social media post. “We’re thrilled to form new relationships while reuniting with old regulars.”
While the new location won’t have a drive-thru, customers can enjoy convenient curbside pickup with an easy-to-use order-ahead system.
We’re thrilled to have Dodge Street Coffeehouse join our community, and we invite residents and visitors alike to stop by, grab their favorite coffee, and experience the welcoming atmosphere of the South of 6th Business District.
